“The ‘work of the Father’—the work of gathering Israel (see 3 Nephi 21:1–8), the missionary thrust of the Latter-day Saints—shall go forward with accelerated force when the Lord has displaced the devil and cleansed the earth of the violence and wickedness on its surface.
