The Messiah will be truly a man of sorrows. He will suffer the same way that all mankind suffer when they are trying to render a great service but are rejected. The anguish Jesus will suffer when making his atoning sacrifice will be attributed by the people to the wrath of God for some terrible crime he is presumed to have committed.
