How was Isaiah’s prophecy that “he made his grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death” fulfilled?

Thomas R. Valletta

“His grave’s being with the wicked is a prophecy of Christ’s being crucified between two thieves (see Luke 23:32–33; Matthew 27:38; Mark 15:27; John 19:18). His grave’s being with the rich is a prophecy of his being buried in the tomb of the rich man Joseph of Arimathea (see Matthew 27:57–60; Mark 15:42–46; Luke 23:50–53; John 19:38–42)” (Nyman, Great Are the Words of Isaiah, 209).
