What is it about a testimony of the gospel that gives one the patience to endure trials and suffering?

In today’s world, the almost universal cry is for justice, and if that is denied, then the demand is for retribution and vengeance. What have you learned from the example set by “the brethren of Ammon”? What other examples have you seen of faith in God and love for His children enabling a person to endure injustice and suffering? What are the fruits of such forbearance both for the sufferer and those whose actions caused the suffering? What seems to be Heavenly Father’s most common method of helping us develop patience? Is there someone in your life who could be blessed by your patient service?
