Who were Zenos, Zenock, and Ezias?

Thomas R. Valletta

“Zenos, Zenock, and Ezias were prophets whose writings were found on the Plates of Brass but have been lost from the Old Testament. Their words are a part of the ‘plain and precious’ things spoken of by Nephi that have been lost from the record ‘of the twelve apostles of the Lamb’ (1 Nephi 13:24–29, 40). These prophets were descendants of Joseph, they testified of the Son of God, and sealed their testimonies with their blood. We look forward to the time when other manuscripts come forward and verify these restored losses from the Bible” (Nyman, “Restoration of Plain and Precious Parts,” 153).
