And then shall that which is written come to pass:
Sing, O barren,
_thou that didst not bear;
_break forth into singing,
_and cry aloud,
_thou that didst not travail with child;
_for more are the children of the desolate
_than the children of the married wife, saith the Lord.
Enlarge the place of thy tent,
_and let them stretch forth the curtains of thy habitations; 3444
_spare not, lengthen thy cords and strengthen thy stakes;
For thou shalt break forth on the right hand and on the left,
_and thy seed shall inherit the Gentiles
_and make the desolate cities to be inhabited.
Fear not, for thou shalt not be ashamed;
_neither be thou confounded,
_for thou shalt not be put to shame;
_for thou shalt forget the shame of thy youth,
_and shalt not remember the reproach of thy youth,
_and shalt not remember the reproach of thy widowhood any more.
